Supported platforms
Dispatch publishes through each platform’s official API, so what it can do is bounded by what that platform allows. This page sets out exactly what is supported where — including where it is limited — rather than implying every network behaves the same.

Local posts accept photos but not video. A call-to-action button is optional and must be chosen explicitly — posts publish without one by default.
Limits are checked before publishing
Caption lengths, file formats, file sizes, image dimensions, and video durations are all validated when you schedule a post, not when it fires. A post that a platform would reject is caught in the composer while you can still fix it.
